NOISE CONTROL RULES FOR RESIDENTS
To promote a peaceful, healthy, and respectful living environment for all residents, the following noise guidelines must be observed at all times:
No Loud Music
Playing music, videos, or any audio at high volume that can disturb others is not allowed, especially during early mornings and at night.
Respect Quiet Hours
Residents should maintain low noise levels, particularly between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, to allow everyone adequate rest.
No Shouting in Common Areas
Corridors, stairways, and surrounding areas must not be used for shouting, loud conversations, or unnecessary noise.
No Noise from Windows or Balconies
Sound should not be projected outside through windows, doors, or balconies in a way that disturbs other residents.
Control of Children’s Noise
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that children do not create excessive noise that may disturb others.
No Use of Loudspeakers or Amplifiers
The use of speakers, megaphones, or sound systems in a way that affects neighbouring rooms or buildings is not permitted, in line with general noise control practices in residential areas ().
No Preaching or Public Address Activities
Religious preaching, gatherings, or any form of public address activity within the premises is not allowed, especially when it involves amplified sound.
Limit Generator and Equipment Noise
Where generators or electrical equipment are used, residents should ensure they are operated in a manner that minimizes disturbance to others.
Avoid Hosting Noisy Gatherings
Parties, celebrations, or group activities that generate excessive noise are discouraged within the premises.
Be Considerate at All Times
Residents should be mindful that excessive noise can affect health, sleep, and general well-being, and are expected to act with respect and consideration for others ().
